Flooding
Update: Sharp Springs Natural Area Park
will close at dark on Thursday, May
5th and will not open May 6th due to high water. |
Starting Monday, May 2nd, the
Bicentennial Trail will be closed
starting behind the 18th hole of the
golf course and going to the Old Jones
Mill bridge due to the Waste Water
Treatment Plant upgrades. We
apologize for the inconvenience and will
open this trail as soon as possible. |

In an effort to get children
outdoors and moving, the Smyrna
Parks Department along with the
Fitness Centre is presenting
this free program for kids of
all ages to enjoy. All you have
to do is bring this card to the
Fitness Centre for one of our
staff to initial when you
complete all the activities
listed on the front. You will
receive a free t-shirt just for
having fun! The department will
be hosting activities throughout
the summer to help you along the
way, or you can simply go out on
your own and do the honor
system. Check out our web page

list of all our events this
summer.

OPEN GYM
Open gym is a program sponsored by
Smyrna Parks Department where
kids have a chance to play pick up
basketball indoors at our local
schools free of charge.
Kids are required to sign in and
there is a gym monitor on hand to
monitor play.
Also the track is open to walkers at
the high school.
Please keep in mind if school is
closed due to inclement weather Open
Gym will also be closed.
