The Nashville Zoo's Zoo on the Move Program
will be bringing their favorite ambassadors to our park for an up close and personal educational program

October 2nd Wilderness Walk at 10am  FREE
Sharp Springs Natural Area near the
Jefferson Pike entrance
Smyrna Parks Staff and TWRA team up to provide a free program the introduces native fish and animals to the community along with an informative walk down the greenway and crafts for the kids.
 

 

October 17th Cruise-In at Gregory Mill Park    FREE
From 1pm - 4pm
Bring your hot-rod or just come by to see
Smyrna's coolest cars.
October 23rd Halloween in the Park  FREE
Sharp Springs Natural Area 3pm - 8:00pm
80 vendors come out to give away candy, Costume Contest, Hayrides, Haunted Hayrides, and Games
 

 


Smyrna Parks Event Sponsorship by Local Businesses
 
Smyrna Parks & Recreation holds various events throughout the year, including Movies in the Park, Music in the Park, 5K Run, Independence Day Celebration, Baseball Camp, Halloween in the Park and other fun and exciting events.  Local businesses that would like to be part of an event through sponsorship and a way to PR your business, may contact Monty Perkins, Smyrna Parks & Recreation Event Coordinator, 615-459-9742 X2612; monty.perkins@townofsmyrna.org   ., or Jeff Marler at 615-459-9742 X2622; jeff.marler@townofsmyrna.org.   

OPEN GYM

Open gym is a program sponsored by Smyrna Parks Department where
kids have a chance to play pick up basketball indoors at our local schools free of charge. 
Kids are required to sign in and there is a gym monitor on hand to monitor play.  
Also the track is open to walkers at the high school.
Please keep in mind if school is closed due to inclement weather Open Gym will also be closed.
Smyrna High School  Wednesday nights 6pm - 9pm
(14 years and up)
Smyrna Middle School Wednesday nights 6pm - 9pm
(11 - 13yrs. old)
Please park in the rear and enter through the back doors!
