Tim is married to his wife Donna and they have four children and five grandchildren. He has lived in Smyrna for over 25 years and is a graduate of Smyrna High School. He received his BA from the University of Texas, Arlington. Tim is an insurance agent for Miller Loughry Beach Insurance and his office is located in Smyrna.

Tim is active in the community and served on the Smyrna Planning Commission for 2 ½ years. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Smyrna and currently serves on the Board of Directors. In 2002, Tim was awarded the Inroads Nashville Business Supervisor of the Year. Tim is a member of First Baptist Church of Smyrna.

Tim and his wife Donna are avid runners and cyclist. They also share a passion for travel.
