    The Town Administration has received information that individuals may be contacting citizens by phone to advise they are collecting cash payments for Town of Smyrna Utility Accounts. The information received also states the fraudulent individuals request the Utility customer to meet them somewhere other than City Hall to accept in-person payment. This activity or behavior is not on behalf of or contributing to the Town of Smyrna. The Town of Smyrna will never ask its customers to meet anywhere other than City Hall (315 South Lowry Street, Smyrna, TN) to accept in-person cash payments. If someone contacts you to meet them with cash payments outside of City Hall, please contact Paula with Smyrna Utilities at (615) 355-5711 to advise her of the incident.

    The Smyrna Police Department is taking part in Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee’s (PCAT’s) Pinwheels for Prevention® campaign by planting a pinwheel garden in honor of the happy, healthy childhood all children deserve. The pinwheels will be planted in front of the Smyrna Justice Center on April 17th at 9:00 am.
