JOB SUMMARY
This classification is responsible for performing a variety of food and beverage
preparation activities for the Town Centre facilities. Duties and
responsibilities include cooking large volumes of food, mixing and preparing
large volumes of beverages, and organizing food and beverage display, Reports to
Town Centre Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED required.
Three (3) to six (6) months of experience in volume food preparation and
service.

Any combination of education and work experience which provides the necessary
knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and
responsibilities.
Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid Tennessee Drivers License.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific

Turns on ranges and prepares for the volume cooking of food; prepares and
cooks meats, vegetables, breads, soups, salads, and does varied baking work.
Performs inventory and stocking of foods; orders supplies.
Prepares attractive displays relating to the serving of foods.
Operates all standard food preparation machines and appliances as normally
found in volume food preparation kitchens.
Works safely observing all OSHA, Federal, State, and City regulations. Reports
any accidents immediately to Supervisor or Manager.
Performs routine maintenance on equipment. Reports any malfunctioning
equipment to the Supervisor or Manager.
Conducts behavior at all times in a professional manner to reflect positively
on customers perception of Town Facility.
Promotes the teamwork environment. Assists co-workers when necessary
including, but not limited to serving duties, washing dishes, and attending to
various customer service tasks.
Helps maintain the cleanliness of machines, work area and facility. Reports
incidents, or malfunctioning equipment to the Supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide coverage in absence of other personnel.
