CONCERNING UTILITIES
Q1 When are you open?
Answer: Monday Through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. The
Holidays we are closed are: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents, Good Friday, Memorial Day,
Veteran's Day, July 4th,
Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the Day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Q2 What do I need to do to
sign up for service?
Answer: You must come into our office in person and
bring your driver's license. There is a $ 25.00 service fee for water, $25.00
service fee for gas and a $75.00 deposit for gas rentals only. You need to come
in at least at least
the business day before you need service. If gas is available but not at the
house, there is an additional $240.00 tap fee.
Q3 Why didn't I get my
bill?
Answer: We outsource our bills and
they are processed and mailed 15 days before your due date to
allow for on time delivery.
Q4 Do you estimate readings?
Answer: The meters are read every month. the only
reason we would estimate is if the meter is unreadable ( behind a fence, covered
by brush or a car, ect.....)
Q5 When are you going to fix
my yard?
Answer: Sometimes in order to repair services, our
water and gas crews may disturb your landscaping. They will be out to smooth the
dirt , seed and straw when weather permits.
Q6 Do you adjust for water leaks?
Answer: Yes, we will adjust two consecutive bills
per year to a six month average. You need to come in to the office to sign an
affidavit that the leak has been repaired. Only the Sewer potion of the bill
will be adjusted.
Q7 Do you adjust sewer bills for filling
swimming pools?
Answer: Yes. We will allow one pool adjustment per
year. You either need to come in to the office to fill out a form stating the
amount of water used to fill the pool or you can get the readings off the meter
before and after you fill the pool and call the readings in. The pool needs to
hold at least 1000 gallons before we do an adjustment.
Q8 Do you adjust sewer bills for filling
hot tubs?
Answer: No
Q9 Do you adjust for gas leaks?
Answer: No
Q10 Why is my water off?
Answer: Was your bill paid? We may be repairing a
leak in the area and had to turn off a main. Also if you live in an apartment,
your maintenance personnel may have it off to make a repair.
Q11 Can I pay my bill over the phone with
my credit card?
Answer:
Yes, you may call
(615)459-2553 and ask to speak with a cashier. Also, you may
have your bill payment automatically deducted from your bank
account.
Forms are available in our office, we will need a voided check
to process.
