Natural gas is odorless, colorless, and non-toxic so an odorant is added for your protection. There is a serviceman on call at all times for emergencies. Please call (615) 355-5742 for service Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. All other times you should call (615) 459-6644.
If you smell gas, call Smyrna Natural Gas at (615) 355-5742 or 911 immediately. Do not turn electrical switches or other spark producers on or off.
Our merchant provider charges a fee of 2.5% for all credit/debit card transactions, regardless of whether they are made online, over the phone, or in person. This fee is non-refundable. Payments made in person at Town Hall using cash or check will not be subject to any additional fees.
Did you know that you can have your utility bill automatically paid from your checking account? If you sign up for Automatic Bank Draft, Smyrna Utilities will automatically pay your utility bill from funds in your checking account on the due date. Many citizens feel that this is the most convenient way to pay their utility bill. Best of all, there no additional fees for this service. Just complete this application form [PDF] and return it to Town Hall (in person or you can mail it) and we'll get your account set up within a few days.
