Several of our monthly meetings are broadcast on the Town's government cable channel in Smyrna on Comcast Channel 3 and AT&T U-verse 99. Additionally, the channel is streamed over the Internet and you can view it from your computer's web browser.
Pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated §8-44-112 and the Town’s written policy, public comment may be made during certain periods at applicable meetings as follows:

Town Council Meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:00 pm in the Council Chambers, 315 South Lowry Street. Exceptions to this schedule will be announced and changed by council resolution. Agendas and Minutes of these meetings are made available to the public for their benefit. At least forty-eight hours in advance of the Council Meeting, an agenda will be available on the website or at Town Hall for pickup during regular business hours.

To be placed under Smyrna Town Council Citizen Comments, an individual must:

  • Fill out the form below, call the Town Clerk's office at (615) 267.5028 or send an e-mail before 4:30pm on the Thursday before the Council Meeting and request to be placed under citizen comments
  • Provide his or her name, address and telephone number
  • State the purpose of addressing the Council
Speakers are limited to three (3) minutes. Additional comments may be submitted in writing.

For other board and committee meetings, in order to be placed under Public/Citizen Comment section, an individual must:


  • Fill out the online form, call the Town Clerk's office at (615) 267.5028 or send an e-mail to amber.hobbs@townofsmyrna.org by 4:00p.m. on the day prior to the meeting you wish to speak at and request to be placed under the public comment section for that particular meeting
  • Provide his or her name, address and telephone number
  • State the agenda item and purpose of public comment (whether in favor or in opposition to said agenda item)
Speakers are limited to three (3) minutes. Additional comments may be submitted in writing.
